about these artists
Dinos Chapman was born in 1962 and Jake in 1966. Both
graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1990 and quickly gained recognition
for their life-sized mannequins depicting Goya's war etchings.
While their
work continues to explore the shocking and grotesque, the brothers' subversive
stance is underpinned by meticulous use of traditional crafts such
as engraving, carving and model-making.
