Born in 1981, Alistair Frost is a multi-disciplinary artist best known for his acclaimed painting.
Although much of his early work was abstracted in form, it was rarely devoid of recognisable visual markers ranging from outlines of everyday objects to graphic symbols such as crosses or speech bubbles.
Recently, Frost has begun to combine such paintings with examples of pure abstraction created using loose, sketchy forms and scumbled paint that allows the canvas or lightly washed grounds to fill his designs with space and light.
